Massive Digital Technology Park in Dong Nai: A Bold Hub

Authorities in southern Dong Nai province have officially approved a zoning plan for the Long Thanh Concentrated Digital Technology Park. This ambitious project aims to develop a major hub for Vietnam’s digital economy. Specifically, the site will serve as a central pillar for innovation and high-tech industrial growth in the region.

Strategic Scale and Infrastructure

The new digital technology park in Dong Nai will cover more than 119 hectares across An Phuoc and Binh An communes. Currently, developers have allocated over 117 hectares specifically for infrastructure and specialized facilities.

The province designed this complex as an integrated ecosystem, featuring several key functional zones:

• Production and Business: Dedicated spaces for digital products and services.

• R&D and Incubation: Centers for research, training, and technology transfer.

• Commercial Support: Office spaces, exhibition areas, and financial services.

• Residential Services: On-site accommodation to support a modern workforce.

Driving Economic Growth and Employment

This massive development expects to employ between 9,500 and 10,500 workers. Furthermore, it aims to foster the growth of the IT industry by attracting both domestic and foreign capital. By providing high-value technology services, the park will help position the IT sector as a primary economic driver for the province.

“The project provides a favorable environment for investment,” noted a provincial official. Consequently, this initiative supports the development of locally made digital products.
