Authorities of Ninh Binh Province in northern Vietnam and Gunma Prefecture in Japan signed a cooperation agreement on October 19, creating new opportunities for businesses from both localities—particularly in industry, high technology, tourism, and human resources training.

The signing took place on the sidelines of talks held in Ninh Binh, with the attendance of authorities from both localities and representatives of 23 leading corporations and enterprises from Gunma Prefecture.

Governor of Gunma Prefecture Yamamoto Ichita said many enterprises from the prefecture are keen to expand investment in Vietnam, especially in Ninh Binh, which offers strong potential and favorable investment policies.

Both sides agreed to maintain effective cooperation mechanisms established in 2023 and to further promote investment activities, aiming to deepen economic and cultural ties between the two localities.
