ACCV Partners with Korean Companies to Advance Energy Storage Solutions in Vietnam

Asia Clean Capital Vietnam (ACCV) has officially signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with Nosafood and Speed Vina to accelerate the development of energy storage solutions in Vietnam. This collaboration focuses on deploying Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). In particular, the project integrates these systems with Rooftop Solar (RTS) for industrial use.

The signing ceremony, held on February 10, 2026, marks a pivotal expansion of clean energy cooperation. Specifically, this collaboration is between ACCV and Korean-invested manufacturing enterprises.

As Vietnam’s renewable energy capacity continues to surge, the demand for reliable energy storage solutions in Vietnam has become a priority for the manufacturing sector. In addition, by integrating BESS with existing rooftop solar, businesses can:

  • Manage Peak Loads: Offset high electricity costs during peak demand periods.

  • Increase On-site Consumption: Use stored solar power during non-daylight hours.

  • Ensure Supply Stability: Reduce the impact of grid fluctuations on sensitive manufacturing equipment.

A Strategic Partnership for 2026

The year 2026 is a milestone for economic ties under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and South Korea. This agreement aligns with ACCV’s strategy to bridge international financing with technical innovation to support Vietnam’s energy transition.

“The integration of rooftop solar and battery energy storage is ushering in a new era for distributed energy,” stated William Bruce Hicks, Chairman of Asia Clean Capital Vietnam.

As an active member of the Korean Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (KOCHAM), ACCV is leveraging its expertise to bring world-class energy storage solutions in Vietnam to factories that must meet increasingly strict global carbon reduction standards.

Driving Decarbonization Without Upfront Capital

ACCV’s business model is particularly attractive for large-scale manufacturers like Nosafood and Speed Vina because it provides technical and financial solutions without requiring upfront capital expenditure.

With a proven track record of nearly 200 MW of solar PV and over 30 MW of energy storage across the region, ACCV is well-positioned to lead the next wave of industrial decarbonization. Furthermore, this partnership establishes a framework for tailored roadmaps. These roadmaps will define the future of sustainable manufacturing at Vietnam’s industrial gateways.
